I grew up always wanting to do something in the healthcare field, and dentistry was kind of a natural fit for me because it allowed me to do that, allowed me to use my hands. I enjoy helping people and making them smile beautiful and giving them teeth that function and allow them to eat. I went to the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill, for undergrad and ended up staying and going to dental school there, as well. Native North Carolinian, born and raised in Greensboro. Right after dental school, I went and did a two-year residency at Carolina Medical Center, and that just gave me some additional training and exposed me to a lot of things that I wasn't exposed to in dental school.
We do continue to get education every year, throughout the year, and just, varies subject to subject. I've done things related to sleep apnea and snore guards. I've done things related to root canals, things related to general fillings, crown and bridge, removable appliances like dentures and partials, and it just keeps us up-to-date on what the latest and greatest materials and techniques are and helps to provide the best possible treatment to our patients.
In his professional life, Dr. Dancausse enjoys all areas of dentistry and routinely takes continuing education courses to keep up to date with the newest techniques and technologies. He feels it is a pleasure getting to know his patients and their families and establishing long-term relationships with them. Dr. Dancausse’s goal is to make every encounter his patients have with us as relaxing and enjoyable as possible.

Like I say, I was born and raised in North Carolina, went to school in North Carolina, and just love the area. It's close to the mountains, close to the beach, close to our family—it just seemed like a perfect spot.
I provide a clinic to where people can come and get their needs addressed without fear and with the knowledge what they're having done is what they need to have done.
